Frequently asked questions

1. What kind of photo sessions do you offer?
I do portrait and wedding photos, which include graduation, couples, families, children and individual portraits. I don't offer passport photos or boudoir sessions.
2. What is your photography style?
I love to create photos that are timeless, vibrant in colors and creative. 20 years down the road I want you to hold a photograph you still cherish, and don't cringe over washed out greens that were a "thing" 2017 or any other trend.
3. What packages do you offer?
For both, portraits and weddings, I offer different packages. Depends on the portrait package they're ranging from a number of photos and print products all the way to the "Dream Collection" with everything included so you can love and enjoy your photographs. For the wedding packages they're differ in the time coverage and the album book and other print products that are included. I also have some special sessions like milestone session, etc.
4. Can I upgrade my session?
Before your session day or your wedding day, there is still the opportunity to make adjustments to the package you booked. When you book my smallest package, session time and number of poses are limited as if you would book the next higher package. That's why I like you to take your time to decide which package would meet your needs, as I don't offer package upgrades after the session.
5. Do you customize packages?
Yes! I realize that every photo session is unique and our photography needs differ from each other. Have a look of what I offer, and if that's still not what you're looking for and will help you to create a special package just fo
6. How do you deliver the digital photos?
All my wedding clients get their digital photos on a USB drive. For my portrait clients, depends on the package details, it's either delivered via email download or USB drive. I recommend to do safety copies of all photographs as technology not only changes over the time but can get w
7. Where can I print my photos?
Almost all of my wedding and portrait sessions include print products you will love and enjoy! I work with leading companies in the print industry that offer high quality and beautiful print products that are true to color and boast in craftsmanship. I offer a wide range of different print products, from wall art, gift prints and album books, you can add to your print order.

While you can order through me, you can print your photos elsewhere. But please keep in mind that many print services don't focus on quality and daily calibrations which effects the outcome of your print.
8. The weather is bad on session day. What are we going to do?
Rain, tornado, blizzard? We will definitely check the weather forecast and make plans accordingly. If it's a portrait session we might be able to a different time on session day or reschedule. We can't reschedule a wedding day, that's why I like having a "plan B" for such events. The couple and I discuss indoor places as alternatives and I also bring clear umbrellas to each wedding.
9. For weddings: do you have an assistant or second shooter?
I always bring an assistant to weddings to help me carry gear, set up and assist during the wedding day. If you wish to have and book a second shooter I'm happy to have photographer friends that I trust and will help to capture all aspects of your wedding day.
10. When can I expect to receive my photos after the session?
With all photo sessions, I try to get your pictures done as soon as possible! For a portrait session your will see them within couple weeks. Since weddings take usually longer and involves more work it can range from few weeks till 4 months. Since I don't outsource the photo post production and juggle life as mom, wife and a day job, time of delivery may vary.
11. When can I expect to receive my prints?
Depends what you ordered and when (holidays can slow down the process), I will deliver your prints as soon as I received them. For prints it may take 2 weeks, wall art and album books about 6 weeks. Please note that this is a rough guideline.
12. Session/Wedding day is over. What's the procedure?
For portrait clients: I will cull and edit your photos and once done I will contact you to schedule a "picture reveal" appointment with you, where you will see all your photos and make your selection according to your package, but also have the opportunity to add on and order additional products. If meeting in person isn't an option and online gallery will be provided.

For wedding clients: I will cull and edit your photos and once done I will contact you to schedule a "picture reveal" appointment with you, where you will see all your wedding pictures. If a album book or other print products were part of your wedding package, you will pick design options and materials that day. You will also have the opportunity to add on additional print products, such as parent books, wall art or gift prints.
13. What to wear on session day?
The days are over where black plants and white shirts are a must, coordinating colors are the way to go! You will find lots of ideas on Google or on Pinterest.
14. Can we use props?
Most definitely! While I have a number of items I can provide, I encourage you to bring your own.
15. What location works best for photo sessions?
Depends of your interest, hobbies or preferences that plays a huge role when picking a location we can make almost everything work. We need to be mindful though and avoid unwanted objects that can be distracting in the photo. And we want to be safe too! If the location is not safe or too dangerous to access, I strongly advise against it and to find alternatives.
16. I have picture requests for my photo session. Can we do them?
I have a lots of ideas and poses I plan to do at each session, but I'm open for ideas! So, yes, send them my way and I'm happy to try to recreate them, although I can't promise the same outcome or style as requested.
17. I can't find my question...
I tried to cover all common questions. If you have more questions please don't hesitate to contact me! Always happy to help!
